Recycling Generates Revenue
RECYCLING GENERATES $30,685 IN REVENUE FOR BERKELEY TOWNSHIP - Mayor Amato is pleased to report during the six month period between July 1, 2016 through Dec. 31, 2016, Berkeley Township collected 2,210 tons of recyclables as part of our Recycling Revenue Sharing program with Ocean County. The payout per ton for this period was $13.88. Berkeley Township received AS ITS SHARE, $30,685 in revenue. Out of the 33 Towns in Ocean County, Berkeley Township was the 6th highest in revenue generated.
